Development will take invest phases, starting with the former Pasir Panjang Power District, Keppel Club and Mount Faber in the next 5 to 10 years. Power-Up Pasir Panjang Ideas Competition for the Pasir Panjang Power District Built in the 1950s and 60s, the 2 former power station buildings, combined with the surrounding disused industrial structures, form the core of the Pasir Panjang Power District. Using its waterfront setting and rich industrial heritage, the district can be transformed into an extraordinary destination for all to enjoy. “Power-Up Pasir Panjang”, a necessitate public ideas to envision future possibilities for this unique site and to celebrate its distinctive heritage, was held from 30th April 2019 – 25th June 2019. Useful ideas and concepts is likely to be distilled into design principles and the brief for the following usage of the power district. An exhibition showcasing the creative submissions is likely to be held at a later date. Stay tuned for more details.
